'Vessels' Woodcut Print

A Limited Edition print of my image called 'Vessels'.

Contemporary Vintage. A true combination of old and new, Vessels evokes yesteryear while at the same time feeling very modern. The vases depicted are from circa 1930 -1940s, a time of beautiful design and craftsmanship. They are Art Deco in style a very elegant design period with an everlasting appeal. Crown Lynn vases especially the Swan Vase are highly sort after and loved in New Zealand.

I have created this work by firstly doing a pencil drawing of these Crown Lynn vases, then colouring it in with black ink pens to produce a striking black and white image.

I then have laser cut these images to create a Wood Cut relief.

I then have hand inked and printed my final image, along with my embossed emblem.

This print looks great in either a white or black frame.

Paper used is 200gsm watercolour paper.

Size is A2.

Limited edition of 100.
